bon voyage!

Well me, my new glitter toes ( thanks to Tara ) + Mike, will be taking off for a trip to Europe, it will be a chance to put my old french skills to the test. We'll spend the time meeting up with long lost family, our favorite exchange student, and exploring three different countries. See you later!

...and now

I recently took nicole hill's photo 101 class in preparation for a trip we will be taking soon. My mom and I took the class together and loved it. It has expanded my knowledge on photography and hopefully my skills as well, if anything it got me motivated and inspired about photography again! Here a a few of my images from the homework assignments.

new orleans

We took a class trip to New Orleans this Spring, the devastation, the decay, and lack of response made me realize my naivety. This city truly needs help years later entire neighborhoods sit untouched, and ghostly. We did have a great time learning and experiencing this unique culture and enojying New Orleans classics such as jazz, crawfish, voodoo, palm readings, rain, humidity + mardi gras.
